As a small business owner, I am committed to giving back. At least 20% of my net will be donated back to the community through charitable giving.

PHILANTHROPIC PHILOSOPHY - If we witness need in our community, we have a moral obligation and duty to those in need. We would hope for the same kindness if it was us.  As the Bible says in John 3:17, ‘But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.’

LIONHEARTS KINGSTON

Monthly & Double Donations Sponsor

“ During the month of June, donations to Lionhearts Inc will go twice as far, thanks to two corporate donors who will match any donations up to a maximum of $35,000. The money raised will be used to support Lionhearts’ ongoing Street Project, providing meal kits to those in need in the Kingston area during this pandemic.

Jessica and Mark de Wolde of Jambo Properties and an anonymous corporate donor have provided the fund matching for every dollar donated to Lionhearts until the end of the month.

“If we witness need in our community, we have a moral obligation and duty to those in need. We would hope for the same kindness if it was us,” said Jessica and Mark. “As the Bible says in Luke 3:11, ‘But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.’”

Since the launch of its Street Project over a year ago, the Lionhearts team of volunteers has prepared and distributed nearly 280,000 meal kits, according to a release from the organization. Demand has not slowed down and the Lionhearts team continues to serve hundreds of meals each night. Each kit costs approximately $5, meaning this fundraiser could help provide up to 14,000 meals.”

INTERVAL HOUSE KINGSTON

Monthly Corporate Sponsor & Fundraising“ Dear “Jambo Properties Inc., YOU DID IT!

You chose to challenge violence against women in our community by donating to Kingston Interval House (KIH) in March.

THANK YOU! In honour of International Women’s Dayto help raise awareness around the growing crisis of domestic abuse and gender-based violence, the Kinsmen Club of Kingston partnered with Kingston Interval House (KIH) to issue a challenge to our local community to help stop violence against women.

Our goal was to raise $40,000 to go directly towards women, children, and youth accessing KIH programs and services. Through the combination of a matching grant from the Kinsmen Club of Kingston and the generous support of the community, KIH was confident that these much-needed funds could be secured.

However, you did not just achieve this goal, you SURPASSED it, and raised over $50,000 to empower women, children and youth escaping violence so that they can move towards a future full of hope.

Your generosity will allow KIH to continue to respond to the growing and complex needs of its clients, which have only grown during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are proud to report that all our services have continued to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week during the pandemic with NO COVID cases being reported at any of our facilities.

Your support will enable us to continue to adapt to the constantly changing landscape we are all finding ourselves in.

Whether it be more personal protective equipment and sanitization products for clients and staff, grocery gift cards for community clients to access fresh and nutritious food, transportation aid to ensure women can travel in safety, toys and books for children, or access to basic toiletriesYOU have helped to ensure KIH can continue to meet the needs of the women, children, and youth it serves.

YOU DID IT - THANK YOU!”
